Gryffe Cottage

This quirky cottage requires a complete refurbishment, internal remodel and extension to drag it into the 21st Century and improve its rent ability. The original cottage was the front half of the building which has the quoin blocks and window surrounds of the late 19th Century. The building was extended around 30 years ago with the lack of character typical of that era. Our proposal is a modern take on the existing cottage with the existing roof profile continued into the extension.  The use of timber cladding contrasts nicely with the white render of the existing volumes.
