The Bothy

The Bothy was originally an out building, serving a large country house. It had become dilapidated and our client wanted to give it a new lease of life, as a break out space for their growing teenagers. All the internal walls were removed and roof ties raised to create a sense of air and space in what is quite a small building. Skylights were introduced and a small shower room with sleeping bunk above. A small kitchen allows it be self sufficient. The client’s fantastic taste has finished it off perfectly!
