Our client had bought his plot with Planning Permission for a house as part of a development of three houses, two of which had already been built. He felt that existing plans did not maximise the site, nor satisfy his requirements for his growing family.
He asked that the scheme was redesigned in a style in-keeping with the two previously built houses, as this was a Planning condition from the council.
The main constraints of this project was fitting a four bedroom house onto a small plot located on a bend of a very busy village arterial road. This required that a turning space was incorporated within the curtilage of the proposal. The sloping nature of the plot allowed for changing levels internally, in contrast to the buildings traditional external appearance
